It’s been a few days since SAPPHIRE NOW 2014, but we’re still reeling from the excitement. It was an exhilarating time for us, as this year’s event was extra special for attune. Here’s why.
SAP Fashion Management hits the center stage
After countless hours of design, development and testing by the teams at SAP, attune and a few selected fashion brands including Adidas, Armani and Luxottica, the new SAP Fashion Management solution (FMS) is now available to fashion companies.
SAP announced the general availability of its Fashion Management solution on the 27th May with the plans to demonstrate it at SAPPHIRE NOW 2014.

The CIO panel discussion was one of the highlights following the announcement. attune was privileged to be a part of the panel, where our Chief Innovation Officer, Marshall Gordon addressed the need for vertically integrated solution for fashion companies.
Check out a few highlights from the panel discussion below:
One of the key drivers for SAP FMS is the need to synchronize supply with demand.
The SAP Fashion Management solution will be a foundational element of omnichannel retail fulfillment; an opportunity to evolve the processes of our industry.
The Fashion Management application helps to achieve operational excellence across the entire value chain and not just within an enterprise.
SAP FMS is also built on SAP HANA, enabling customers to leverage its powerful analytics engine for real time insights.
Another topic we took on during the panel discussion was questions relating to existing SAP AFS and/or SAP IS Retail clients following the launch of the new SAP Fashion Management solution. As the co-innovation partner of SAP Fashion Management, we provide a host of personalized services – including migrating SAP AFS and/or SAP IS Retail or a legacy system to SAP Fashion Management.
