attune’s private lunch event, ‘Fashion Forward: Adapting to the Modern Customer Journey’ was held at Hush Mayfair in London last week and it was a great turnout with amazing food, lively conversations and some of the latest insights in the fashion industry.
The keynote speaker was Tim Price, Chief Technology Officer at the JD Williams/N Brown Group, who spoke about what the company is doing to adapt to the modern customer journey and introduce a future-proof strategy. The keynote session was followed by SAP Hybris and attune's presentation "Seamless Systems for Omni-Channel Excellence", which focused on how an end-to- end, integrated solution including SAP Fashion Management, Hybris and CAR is a vital requirement to meet the changing landscape of the modern customer journey.
One of the major points highlighted during the session was that single channel processes, siloed systems, disparate data, and lack of executable insights in back-end systems resulted in grave discrepancies with what the customer expects and what fashion businesses today deliver. In order to be successful, fashion companies must break down the barriers inside their organization of how people mythologize the customer relationship and use the right IT landscape to strengthen the relationship they have with their customers.
